I was saying to one of my RedState coworkers the other day, that I had noticed that since her primary loss, my former esteemed Congresswoman Cori Bush had not surfaced anywhere in the media or online, not even locally. Well, gird your loins because Cori Bush is back. Like a lot of other former members of Congress from both sides, Bush is making her foray into television news. And she is not doing it alone. With her is fellow Squad cast-off, former New York Congressman Jamaal Bowman of fire alarm fame, along for the ride.
You can’t make this up. Fire alarm puller Jamaal Bowman and BLM grifter Cori Bush, who got beaten badly in their primaries, have joined forces to launch, yes you guessed it, another podcast no one will listen to.

On Thursday, Bush announced that she and Bowman will be hosting an “independent” news show on the newly formed Zeteo News Network. The new network is being created by former MSNBC anchor Mehdi Hasan. The new show will be called “Bowman and Bush.” The partnership between Bush, Bowman, and Hasan is a match made in…well, let’s just say that it’s a perfect one for radical leftists. Hasan’s show on MSNBC was canceled in 2023 after he made some disturbing comments about the Israel-Hamas war, including blaming Israel for the rise of Hamas. Hasan also has a history of incendiary comments about non-Muslims and gays.

In a trip down memory lane, here are some of Cori Bush’s most outstanding moments. She turned her agitation during the 2014 racial unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, into two terms in the House as representative from Missouri’s first congressional district. She quickly glommed onto the likes of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
Bush lost her primary bid in August of 2024 to St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell. Bush was fond of calling President Donald Trump the “white supremacist in chief,” and referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “war criminal” who “stood for genocide.” Bush was also under a federal investigation for payments made to her husband by her campaign for security services. But maybe the cherry on the cake of Cori Bush’s many “talents,” in a forgettable 2022 autobiography, Bush claimed she could heal tumors with her hands.
Compared to Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman may be a bit of a rookie. Like Bush, Bowman was all-in on the “defund the police” movement. But his biggest claim to fame was when he pulled a fire alarm in September of 2023 during a key vote on a Republican spending package. He ultimately pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for the incident, and was censured by the House. Bowman lost his primary challenge in June of 2024 to Westchester County Executive George Latimer. Because of Bush and Bowman’s anti-Israel statements and actions, both of their primary challengers received hefty donations from pro-Israel groups.

So, what will “Bowman and Bush” cover? Cori Bush tweeted on Thursday that they will “dive deep into what’s really happening in Congress and explore the powerful influence of big money.” And, of course, who wouldn’t think that all won’t be covered with complete fairness and accuracy? Because why wouldn’t two people who are now out of Congress know what’s “really going on”?
“…explore the powerful influence of big money.” Is that going to be like a tell all from their personal experience laundering taxpayers money?

Those of us who were unfortunate enough to be Cori Bush’s constituents knew she had been quiet for too long. No word on when the new platform–complete with this hard-hitting news show–will begin.
This might give birth to a deadly drinking game – taking a shot each time one says “supremacy”.
