The Announcement:

Adam Elsherif has joined Australia’s iconic real estate brand LJ Hooker, rebranding his independent agency to establish LJ Hooker Sunbury in one of Melbourne’s fastest-growing suburbs.

Mr Elsherif, 35, will lead the new office located in the Sunbury Square Shopping Centre, servicing acreage, residential and commercial sales, while building a rent roll in the dynamic high-growth market.

The move comes as Sunbury prepares for major infrastructure developments, including a new rail link as part of Melbourne’s Metro Tunnel project.

“In Sunbury and surrounding areas, most homeowners are familiar with the LJ Hooker name, and our own research showed people were more open to business under a rebrand than if we stayed an independent office,” Mr Elsherif said.

“We had already started shifting our business to the area, with around 80 per cent of our stock in Sunbury. It started with a land development and the business has grown through word of mouth from there.”

The suburb boasts lifestyle acreage estates, residential homes, and mixed-density developments, with median house prices ranging from $1.1m to $2m.

Several major infrastructure projects are underway, including the multimillion-dollar upgrade of the Sunbury Community Hospital and planned school developments.

“It is a very vibrant market with several existing houses and land developments expected to deliver around 7,000 new homes and there will be future releases,” Mr Elsherif said.

Head of Network Australia, Chris Keating, welcomed the expansion into this strategic market.

“Adam is motivated and ready to take operations to the next level, and being part of the LJ Hooker network will assist in opening up new opportunities and reaching those goals,” Mr Keating said.

“Sunbury is an exciting region with new housing developments and an array of upcoming infrastructure, so it is important for LJ Hooker to have a presence and to be there helping both the current and next generation of homeowners as we countdown to our centenary celebrations.”
