Knight Frank has strengthened its Western Sydney Investment Sales team with two strategic appointments, marking a significant expansion of its presence in the region.
Jeff Moxham has been appointed as Partner, Head of Investment Sales, Western Sydney, bringing more than 26 years of commercial real estate experience to the role.
George Tisseverasinghe joins as Sales Executive, Investment Sales, with over 10 years of experience in property development, including expertise in funding, acquisitions and development management.
Mr Moxham’s extensive industry experience includes running his own company, Moxham Commercial, and holding senior positions at Ray White and Jones Lang LaSalle.
The appointments come as Knight Frank’s Western Sydney office settles into its new location in the AXA Building at 18 Smith Street, Parramatta.
Phil Rockliff, Head of Western Sydney at Knight Frank, said the appointments mark the beginning of a planned expansion in the region.
“We are now focused on growing our team and these two new appointments have kickstarted that growth,” Mr Rockliff said.
“Our intention is to continue expanding our local team in the thriving Western Sydney region to provide our clients with the best full-service agency business in the area.”
The expansion aligns with Western Sydney’s growing importance as a commercial hub, particularly with the development of Western Sydney International Airport.
Knight Frank Chief Executive Officer James Patterson highlighted the strategic importance of the region.
“Western Sydney continues to go from strength to strength, with significant investment and infrastructure developments,” Mr Patterson said.
“We have built a team in our Western Sydney office with significant experience in property, as well as the local area, with Jeff’s family having a history in the area dating back to the mid-1800s.”
Mr Moxham expressed optimism about the commercial property market’s recovery and his personal connection to the region.
“I’m passionate about Parramatta, having a long history in the area as my grandfather started our family real estate agency here nearly 70 years ago now, while my great great uncle was the mayor of the city in 1897,” Mr Moxham said.
“I look forward to leading further growth in Knight Frank’s Western Sydney Investment Sales team in the future as the region continues to expand.”
