McGrath Estate Agents has expanded its Brisbane presence with the opening of a new office in Coorparoo, led by experienced local agent Amanda Becke.

The new office operates as an extension of McGrath Bulimba, under the leadership of Tony O’Doherty and Jon Iceton, who joined McGrath in November 2024.

Ms Becke brings her entire team of three to the new operation, strengthening McGrath’s presence in Brisbane’s inner-eastern suburbs.

Having lived and worked in Coorparoo for over 20 years, Ms Becke has established herself as a prominent figure in the local real estate landscape.

“I’m excited by this new opportunity to work alongside one of the best agents in Queensland – Tony O’Doherty,” Ms Becke said.

“When I was approached to join the McGrath brand along with my team, I was so impressed by the professionalism at all levels of the company.”

McGrath Coorparoo Principal Jon Iceton expressed enthusiasm about the strategic expansion.

“The opportunity for Tony and myself to collaborate with Amanda to spearhead our expansion is an exciting time for the growth of our business,” Mr Iceton said.

“Importantly, Amanda has the same service levels and standards that we adhere to for our clients and enhance their opportunities to buy and sell property.”

Chris Mourd, Head of Franchise for McGrath, highlighted the strategic importance of the new office and Ms Becke’s appointment.

“Amanda’s long-standing success in the Coorparoo community made it an easy decision to accelerate the opening of a second office for Tony and Jon,” Mr Mourd said.

“We are certain that Amanda’s exemplary track record combined with McGrath’s leading marketing platform will provide great value to the residents of Coorparoo, Greenslopes, Camp Hill and Holland Park.”

Located just 5km from Brisbane’s CBD, Coorparoo has evolved into a sought-after suburb known for its mix of heritage Queenslanders and post-war homes.

“Coorparoo’s property market has evolved beautifully over the years, blending timeless charm with contemporary luxury,” Ms Becke said.

“From classic Queenslanders to elegant Hamptons designs and the fresh, modern appeal of Palm Springs with architecturally designed homes, there’s a style to suit every lifestyle.”
