More than 140,000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles are being recalled by Toyota, according to a press release from the company on Thursday.
Toyota said that the recalls include certain models of its Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles, as well as their Toyota Camry and Lexus RX vehicles.
The recalls involves different faults, with Toyota saying that the recalled Tacoma vehicles could have damaged rear brake hoses if there is “enough build-up of mud and dirt inside the rear wheels.”
Recalled Camrys and Lexus RX vehicles could have second-row center seatbelts that might have been damaged during manufacturing. The company says it will notify affected customers of both recalls by early April 2025.
Replacements for both recalls will be done free of charge.
