Mountains of garbage were piling up in Gaza City, creating what Palestinian news agency Wafa described as a “health hazard” for residents.

Footage filmed by the Hamas-affiliated Quds News Network shows a vast accumulation of garbage in Gaza City on Tuesday, February 4.

According to a report from the Associated Press, Palestinians were resorting to disposing of rubbish in the streets in the absence of a collection system.
