The property, steeped in Hollywood history, was once leased by fashion icon and heiress Gloria Vanderbilt in 1941 and later owned for seven decades by B-movie star Noreen Nash, who passed away in 2023.

Gloria Vanderbilt was a fashion designer, artist, author, and actress, best known for launching a hugely successful line of designer jeans in the 1970s and 1980s.

In 1941, Vanderbilt leased the English Revival mansion, which has carried her name ever since. The property was later acquired by Noreen Nash, known for films such as The Red Stallion and Phantom from Space. With her passing in 2023, her estate has now put the home on the market, offering buyers a chance to own a piece of Hollywood history.

Top Ten Real Estate Deals reports the the estate is set on a 3,035sqm lot, and boasts a classic brick façade, steeply pitched roof, and ivy-covered walls, giving it a distinct old-world charm. Inside, the grand home features dramatic spiral staircase with elegant windows; arched doorways separating formal and casual living spaces; a library; expansive primary suite, and five additional bedrooms and a grand living room.

The manicured grounds offer a massive pool, covered patio, and a separate guest house, creating an entertainer’s paradise. The property can host up to 400 guests and provides parking for 14 cars.

Over the years, the home has welcomed Hollywood royalty, including Elvis Presley, Warren Beatty, Bob Evans, Ali MacGraw, and author Henry Miller, who was married at the estate.

Located in the prestigious “Flats” of Beverly Hills, just off Sunset Boulevard, the estate is minutes from Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Hills Hotel, and the Los Angeles Country Club. The 5-square-mile city of Beverly Hills, originally settled as Rancho Rodeo de las Aguas in 1828, was developed in 1914 after failed oil exploration.
