The Announcement:
Harcourts has appointed Mitch Green to lead its Academy and Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO), adding to his current role as Head of People and Culture.
Mr Green, who has been with Harcourts for 14 years, will oversee the strategic direction of the company’s learning and development initiatives while working closely with performance coaches and CEOs internationally.
Starting his journey with Harcourts in 2011 as HR Support, Mr Green progressed to HR Manager in 2016 before stepping into the Head of People and Culture role in 2022.
“I’m excited to be more a part of the strategic direction and to work closer with our performance coaches and CEOs internationally, and to see what they’ll deliver in their countries and states,” Mr Green said.
The appointment comes as Irene Green, who has led the Harcourts Academy and RTO Training Centre for over 20 years, steps down from her leadership position.
Ms Green will remain with the organisation, assisting Mr Green during the transition period while continuing to contribute to the People and Culture team.
Harcourts Managing Director Mike Green expressed confidence in the leadership change.
“This leadership change reflects Harcourts’ commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing professional development opportunities for its team,” Mr Green said.
“With Mitch’s vast experience and a clear vision, alongside Irene’s ongoing support, Harcourts is confident in the continued success of the Academy and RTO in creating valuable learning experiences.”
The company maintains its focus on supporting team members with best-in-class training and resources to drive growth and achievements in real estate.
