Operating across Melbourne’s growing corridor, including Druin, Pearsdale, and Womerville, Ms McCallum has worked with many first and second-home buyers who are targeting homes under $650,000.

Her knowledge of the area, particularly around Blind Bay, where she lives, has helped her build a strong client base of both buyers and sellers looking to upsize or manage their investment properties.

Ms McCallum’s approach is focused on maintaining strong lines of communication with all parties involved in a transaction at all times.

“I’ve had many people recently share their experiences with other agents who simply disappeared after the sale,” she said.

“We’re always checking where things are, so everyone knows exactly what’s going on.”

Starting her career in property management at just 18, Ms McCallum worked her way through several major franchises before deciding to take control of her own destiny.

“Working alongside Marcus Washington and Stacey Woodfield, we came to the conclusion – why not do something for ourselves?” Ms McCallum said.

As a mother of two, the flexibility offered by Area Specialist has been a game changer.

“The support of the team makes it super easy to manage both work and family life.

“I can still work mobile when needed, and as long as the opens are done and I’m there on Saturday, that’s what matters most.”

Since joining Area Specialist, Ms McCallum has seen her business grow by 40 per cent in the past year alone.

She maintains strong community connections through sponsorship of local sports teams and involvement in charity initiatives.

“The financial benefits of working for Area Specialist – you wouldn’t not do it,” she said.

“I see agents still working for big companies losing 30-40 per cent of their income when they could be doing it themselves.”

Area Specialist is a real estate platform for top-performing agents, providing the systems, tools and technology they need to create, grow and power their business.
