About Chick-fil-A
The first Chick-fil-A was opened by S. Truett Cathy in Atlanta in 1967. It has since grown to more than 3,000 locations across 48 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and Canada. The fast-good restaurant is known for its chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and shakes.
According to its website, the restaurant is closed on Sundays to allow its employees “one day to rest and worship if they choose.”
