Olivia Flowers exited Southern Charm ahead of season 10, but her fractured friendship with Taylor Ann Green still has fans talking.
“We haven’t been around each other really much,” Olivia, 32, exclusively told Us Weekly of Taylor, 30, on Tuesday, December 10, while attending Kathy Hilton‘s DirectTV Christmas Party in Los Angeles.
While the former BFFs aren’t filming together for Bravo — or spending anytime one on one — Olivia said they are no longer feuding.
“I think between the time that’s passed and everything that’s transpired, we both are on the same page of, like, if the time comes to circle back, we will,” she said.
Olivia noted that while there’s hope for reconciliation, Taylor is “busy” with her own life. “I’m sure our path will cross,” she assured Us. “Charleston’s a very small town, so we’ll see each other eventually.”
When Olivia joined Southern Charm for season 8 while dating Austen Kroll, she became quick friends with Taylor, who was dating Austen’s pal Shep Rose at the time. Following their respective splits from Shep, 44, and Austen, 37, in July 2022 and September of that year, the girls remained close.
However, when Taylor lied about kissing Austen soon after he and Olivia split, their friendship took a hit.
Olivia revealed at the season 9 Southern Charm reunion that she didn’t trust Taylor even after she apologized for the lies. “I will not be friends with you. But I’m not going to make this miserable for you,” Olivia told Taylor during the episode. “I’m not going to be negative. We can move forward that doesn’t necessarily mean together.”
Since filming season 9 in 2023, Olivia and Taylor’s circumstances have changed. They both lost a brother — Olivia’s sibling, Connor, died in January 2023, while Taylor’s brother, Worth, passed away in June 2023 — and they are both in happy relationships.
Olivia got engaged to Alex Williams in September after more than one year together. Taylor, meanwhile, exclusively revealed to Us in October 2023 that she is dating Gaston Rojas, whom she met through Southern Hospitality star TJ Dinch.
The reality stars are also no longer seeing each other because of Southern Charm. While Taylor is still part of the series, Olivia announced in July that she wasn’t returning, hinting it wasn’t her choice.
The casting shakeup hit Taylor hard as she wished to mend fences with her former bestie on camera. Even without a show reunion, Taylor exclusively told Us earlier this month that she has been in touch with Olivia.
“I think we’re on a good turn and she reached out,” Taylor explained. “I allowed that space and time for her to reach out to me if she was ready or wanting or willing, and so she did, and I think we’re good.”
She noted that Olivia called to check in on Taylor before she started shooting. “We had just started filming and she just said, ‘Hey, I’ve heard some things. I’m just checking in on you, making sure you’re doing OK,’” she recalled. “Of course [I said], ‘It’s so great to hear from you. I obviously think about you a lot. I wish you were back this season.’”
When Us told Olivia how sad Taylor was that she didn’t come back for season 10, Olivia said it was “very nice for her to say.”
Olivia called her exit a “bummer” confessing she’s “missed out on the fun trips.”
Like her friendship with Taylor, Olivia explained that her future on Southern Charm is unknown. “I had a blast when I did it, so I would be happy to come back if it ever came back around,” she added.
Southern Charm airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
