Kit Hoover and her husband, Crowley Sullivan, have split after more than two decades of marriage, Us Weekly can confirm.
“She’s been telling people she is single and getting divorced,” a source tells Us.
The Access Hollywood coanchor, 54, and the sports executive have been married since August 1999. The estranged couple share daughters Campbell and Hayes and son Crowley. People was first to report the news on Wednesday, December 4.
In recent months, Hoover has not posted Instagram photos with Sullivan, and she appeared to ditch her wedding ring.
Last year, Hoover gushed over her 24th wedding anniversary with Sullivan via Instagram in August 2023, captioning cuddly pictures of the pair, “Holy Cow – We are 24 years old in this pic and NOW – Happy 24th anniversary Honeybun!!! Thanks for loving this lunatic and for our beautiful family that is my EVERYTHING. I love you. 💚🍀💚 #stillhavingfun #stilltheone #grateful #joyfulliving.”
However, this August, the duo’s milestone 25th anniversary came and went without a post from Hoover.
Earlier this year, Hoover paid tribute to Sullivan on his birthday in May. “Happy Birthday to our Head Coach. We love you. GO GREEN!!! 💚💚💚🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸,” she wrote via Instagram at the time.
The following month, she shared a message to her husband in honor of another special occasion. “Happy Father’s Day to the leader of our wild band,” she captioned throwback photos of the family via Instagram in June. “You’re an incredible Frontman. We love you Dah-Dah-Dadio 🥰.”
Hoover has been vocal in the past about her efforts to maintain a proper work-life balance.
“I love my work and I’m so grateful for it, but being a working mom, wife and daughter, it’s impossible to do everything well all of the time,” she told Woman’s World in 2021. “There are times you can’t be where you need to be and so different aspects might suffer, but if I try to be present where I am, things usually work out. If you focus on what’s most important, I think it all comes out in the wash.”
Despite her busy schedule, Hoover made time to bond with her family at home.
“My husband, kids and I have never been big TV watchers, but we’ve been having a blast bingeing shows these days,” she continued. “It’s great for our relationship because it really just gives us the time together as a family to do something fun. And in the tough moments, remembering that connection just brings us closer.”
Earlier this year, Hoover hinted at the recent changes in her marriage during an April appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“I’m in a transition period,” she explained. “Empty nest, my kids are getting up and out. I’ve been a mom for so long. That’s a weird thing. What does my relationship look like with my husband? Like, ‘Hey, nice to meet you again.’”
