OWINGS MILLS, Md. — A day after Diontae Johnson didn’t play a single snap despite starting wide receiver Rashod Bateman going down with a knee injury, Ravens coach John Harbaugh added even more questions and uncertainty about the veteran trade acquisition’s status with the team.

“There’s some moving parts there that we’re going to have to figure out and explore, and see where we’re at,” Harbaugh said Monday. “I know that’s not the answer you want, but that’s the best I can do in fairness to everybody right now.”

Asked a follow-up about whether Johnson will remain on the roster, Harbaugh declined to elaborate, referring back to his initial statement.

“Like I said, we’ll just work it out, see where we’re at over the next few days this week,” Harbaugh said.

The Ravens acquired Johnson and a 2025 sixth-round pick from the Panthers in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick in October. Given the modest cost, the Ravens felt good about adding talent and depth to their wide receiver group. However, Johnson has not been able to contribute in limited opportunities, making just one catch (on five targets) for 6 yards in five games. In the three games before Sunday, Johnson played five, 11 and five snaps, respectively.

In the Ravens’ 24-19 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, Johnson was active, but never left the sideline, all while backup receivers Nelson Agholor and Tylan Wallace played 40 snaps each. Afterward, Harbaugh said he wasn’t ready to comment on Johnson’s status because he had to learn more information.

Harbaugh also said Monday that Bateman was receiving treatment for a sore knee.

“It’s not a long-term thing,” he said.
