We have many things to be grateful for this year, whether it’s a roof over our heads, the warmth of the company of friends and family around a bountiful dinner table, or something else. On a less traditional note, many will give thanks for the positive results of the November elections that provide the Republicans and President-elect Trump a brief window to right some of the wrongs enacted over the past four years under the Biden-Harris administration.
While sifting through the Republican and conservative messages of thanksgiving, what I found encouraging this year is that many of the voices we’re hearing from might not have spoken up even 365 days ago. I’ll start off with something of a twofer in that vein:
.@elonmusk, thankful to you for buying Twitter and giving us all @X. That move took some of the air out of the woke momentum balloon, before the election popped it altogether.
Happy Thanksgiving to you. https://t.co/tpZJnOPQCC— Justine Bateman (@JustineBateman) November 28, 2024
Over the wordless pair of memes that X owner Elon Musk posted on Thanksgiving, actress Justine Bateman gave him kudos for how he transformed the social media platform:
.@elonmusk, thankful to you for buying Twitter and giving us all @X. That move took some of the air out of the woke momentum balloon, before the election popped it altogether.
Happy Thanksgiving to you.
As my colleague Mike Miller wrote earlier, Trump shared one of his instant classic holiday messages.

Vice President-elect Vance also dropped a Thanksgiving message to Americans:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Despite our challenges, we remain the greatest nation in the world, and I’m very grateful for it–and for all of you!

Harmeet Dhillon, the founder of Dhillion Law Group and a crucial member of Team Trump’s 2024 election integrity legal team in Arizona, chimed in too:
Mom and I are celebrating the first Thanksgiving without our husbands. All four of us loved this holiday and always gave thanks around the table for God bringing us to America where we enjoy so many blessings, even in this year of tremendous loss.

She wrote that while both she and her mother are missing important loved ones this year, she remains grateful and feels blessed that her family can call the U.S. home:
Mom and I are celebrating the first Thanksgiving without our husbands. All four of us loved this holiday and always gave thanks around the table for God bringing us to America where we enjoy so many blessings, even in this year of tremendous loss.
The pilgrims came here in search of religious liberty, which has been under increasing attack in recent years. I’m so thankful that we may enjoy it these next few years, even as we never take these blessings for granted.
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁 to all Americans and those who love us worldwide!
Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan thanked everyone for voting, while reminding us all that major changes are on their way and asking Americans what they are thankful for:
Happy Thanksgiving, America! 🇺🇸
I am thankful for every American who made a difference this election cycle by voting.
Because we were able to vote for the one man who could make a difference, Donald Trump, we are now only 53 days away from seeing the changes in America that…

Anything specific that you’re thankful for, America?
And while this message was shared on behalf of our Salem Media colleague Dennis Prager, it’s a good reminder to include him and his ongoing health journey (after a serious fall in his home on Nov. 12) in our prayers this Thanksgiving.
May your Thanksgiving Day be filled with loved ones, delicious food and a grateful heart! #dennisprager #dennispragershow #thanksgiving
