Debuting for the 2022 model year as Mazda’s first all-electric vehicle, the MX-30 crossover is back for 2023. Just like last year, the MX-30 EV is only available in California. The MX-30 is a carryover from its first iteration with a nominal price bump.
Positioned as a car designed for urban driving, the MX-30 has an EPA-estimated range of a mere 100 miles on a full charge generated from its 35.5 kWh battery. The standard front-mounted electric motor produces 143 horsepower and 200 pounds-feet of torque.

Model Features
- The MX-30’s interior features a floating center console with cork accents. This floating design allows for additional storage space, which includes two standard USB audio inputs and 150W AC power outlet.
- Electric G-Vectoring Control Plus (e-GVC Plus), standard, uses electric motor torque adjustments to control vehicle load and help provide natural and consistent handling.
- Steering wheel paddles, also standard, allow the driver to adjust the level of regenerative braking to what feels comfortable based on the driving situation.
- Comes with an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty.
- Also comes with three-year complimentary Mazda Connected Services to remotely monitor and control the MX-30 through the MyMazda App, including remote start-stop charging, door lock, battery levels check, and climate control sets.
- Premium Plus adds Bose 12-speaker premium audio, heated steering wheel, 360° View Monitor with front parking sensors, and Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry, as well as i-Activsense safety features including Blind Spot Assist and Front Cross Traffic Alert.
