Nottingham Forest’s most recent match was, like Arsenal, also on Sunday November 10 — and at the City Ground, Forest came unstuck against Newcastle.
Defender Murillo gave the hosts the lead, but second-half strikes from Alexander Isak, Joelinton, and Harvey Barnes gave the visitors a 3-1 away win.
Despite that defeat, Forest remain level on points with Arsenal and Chelsea who are both only ahead thanks to superior goal difference.
They will be a tougher test for Arsenal today than mediocre previous seasons would suggest.
