Jason Kelce is becoming a late-night TV talk show host. At least for five weeks.

Beginning Jan. 4, Kelce will host “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce” on ESPN. The hour-long program will run on Friday nights/Saturday mornings beginning at 1 a.m. for the first four episodes and 1:30 for the final one. It will take place from Union Transfer in Philadelphia with fans in attendance.

The program will focus on football but will derive some of its segments from traditional late-night TV. The Philadelphia-based band, SnackTime, will provide the music.

It will run for five weeks and will also be available on ESPN+, ESPN’s YouTube channel and Kelce’s YouTube channel.

ESPN said the “new personality-driven one-hour program will take its inspiration from traditional late-night television, emphasizing a comedic approach throughout all five scheduled episodes which run in conjunction with the NFL regular season and playoffs.”

The show’s name is an ode to, “They Call It Pro Football,” which was NFL Films’ first full-length film in 1967.
