The Announcement:

Stone Real Estate has announced the opening of its first office in Tasmania, expanding its footprint into Southern Tasmania with a focus on lifestyle, residential and rural properties.

Wendy Wade, a highly accomplished real estate professional with over 16 years of experience, leads this new office.

Ms Wade has built a reputation for excellence and success, first honing her skills in an administrative role before launching her own franchise eight years ago.

She chose Margate as her base, recognising its appeal for those seeking a lifestyle of the properties in Southern Tasmania, with a local presence in the Kingborough, Channel and Huan Valley regions.

“I chose Stone Real Estate because of their advanced property marketing tools and comprehensive training programs for my team across both sales and property management,” Ms Wade said.

“The one national database also provides a powerful advantage, allowing us to serve our clients more effectively and with greater reach.

“I’m thrilled to bring the Stone experience to Southern Tasmania, combining local expertise with Stone’s industry-leading resources to contribute to the region’s real estate landscape.”

The team comprises three other staff members residing in Margate and one from the Huon Valley, all dedicated to supporting and engaging with their local communities.

This foundation in local expertise is further enhanced by a rural specialist with an extensive farming background, adding valuable insight and support for clients with rural property needs.

Graeme Hyde, Chief Performance Officer at Stone Real Estate, expressed his enthusiasm for this expansion.

“It’s incredibly exciting to see Stone Real Estate expanding into Tasmania, and we’re thrilled to welcome Wendy and her team to the network,” Mr Hyde said.

“The Stone Technology Eco-System will be a game-changer, empowering Wendy and her team to provide top-tier service across both residential and rural property sectors.”

Luke Cameron, Head of Franchise, shared his excitement about Ms Wade’s decision to join Stone Real Estate.

“We are honoured that Wendy has chosen Stone as the next step in her career journey, and we’re confident she’ll be a pioneer for the Stone brand in Tasmania,” Mr Cameron said.

“Her passion and commitment to the local community make her an ideal leader to introduce Stone’s unique approach in the region.”
