Sydney Sweeney’s homes are a testament to her talent and drive. The Spokane, Washington, native is seemingly everywhere these days, with a list of roles spanning genres—rom-com (Anyone But You), action (Madame Web), horror (Immaculate), and, soon, biopic (the as-yet-untitled film about female boxer Christy Martin). Before she made it big, however, Sweeney and her family moved to LA when she was 13 in hopes of launching her career, but things got off to a rocky start. “We lived in one room,” she said in a Hollywood Reporter profile of the motel where they lived. “My mom and I shared a bed and my dad and little brother shared a couch.” These days, Sweeney’s fortune has turned, and she’s used her newfound wealth to help her family. She paid off her mom’s mortgage, flew her grandparents to Italy to visit her on set, and bought her uncle’s dream boat for the family lake, she shared with Glamour. “I come from a family where I saw my parents lose everything, and I am terrified of that,” she said, referring to her parents’ bankruptcy. “That fear will always be instilled in me. I’m a huge saver. I don’t just go and spend money. I like to invest. I like real estate.” Below, we’re sharing a little glimpse into Sweeney’s growing portfolio of properties, which will undoubtedly keep expanding as her star continues to rise.

Tudor-style Westwood home

After spending several years in LA, Sweeney was still struggling to make it big. She had bit parts on shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Pretty Little Liars, but it wasn’t until 2018 when her career really began to see traction with the lead role on Netflix’s Everything Sucks! and a small but memorable part on The Handmaid’s Tale. Then, in 2019, she landed a role on Euphoria opposite Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, and other up-and-comers, catapulting her to a new level of fame. Two years later, Sweeney paid $3 million for her first home, a historic Tudor-style house in Westwood. “I always thought that when I turned 18, I’d have all this money and I’d buy back my parents’ house and put them all back together again. And I never was able to, and I never did,” she told The Associated Press that same year. “So now being able to be in a house is such an incredible, humbling, amazing accomplishment that I still can’t believe I was able to pull off.” The dwelling, originally built in 1933, features a unique double A-frame that houses five bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across 3,200 square feet. It also boasts vaulted wood beam ceilings and original brick fireplaces. One of its most unique features? A funicular cable railway system that helps transport guests from the base of the hill it’s perched on to the front door. Sweeney fittingly refers to this charming home as “Snow White’s château.”

Generational family home

The following year, Sweeney reportedly repurchased her generational family home, she revealed during an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. “My great-grandma had this beautiful house, it’s a two-bedroom, cute house that they lived in,” she said. “My grandma was born in it, my mom was born in it, and then as the kids got older, they built on the property another home.” Sweeney explained that after her great-grandfather passed away and as her great-grandmother got older, they simply couldn’t afford to hold onto the property anymore. That’s when the White Lotus star decided to step in. “Last year, I called up the owners and I said, ‘I want to buy my great-grandma’s house back.’” She did, and now, she shared with Clarkson, she’s got the best neighbors. “My grandy still lives in the house next door, so I’m neighbors with my grandy now,” she said, reaferring to her grandmother. Details of the property itself are not readily available.

Bel-Air estate

In 2023, Sweeney paid $6.2 million for a fixer-upper property in Bel-Air. The 1930s estate oozes old-school Hollywood glamour, consisting of a 4,477-square-foot mansion set on 1.25 acres. Sweeney reportedly won the residence in a bidding war. It was last sold in 1984, and it previously belonged to the son of Hollywood screenwriter Delmer Daves, who became famous in Hollywood’s Golden Age of the ’40s and ’50s. The two-story house boasts five bedrooms and four bathrooms and is currently covered by a web of persistent vines; there’s also a separate guesthouse and pool, in addition to a (currently) overgrown garden. “We’ll fix it up as much as we can without hurting any of it,” Sweeney told Glamour of the renovation process. “I don’t want anyone to walk in and be like, ‘Oh, when did you redo this?’ I want it to feel timeless, like it is.” When the time is right, Sweeney will no doubt outfit the home stylishly and in keeping with the Old Hollywood aesthetic—she does, after all, have an unexpected love for antique furniture and cars.

Florida mansion

One year later, the Sharp Objects star dropped $13.5 million for an oceanfront compound in Florida, just outside of Key West. Sweeney’s latest real estate purchase features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread across 7,720 square feet, with a 330-gallon aquarium, a 520-bottle wine room, a chef’s kitchen, a home gym, and a game room. Images of the property reveal a large infinity pool with a swim-up bar and an attached spa, with a spacious back deck surrounded by tall palm trees. It also appears that there is a private boat launch.
