A passenger seated beside Taylor Swift’s father on a flight out of New Orleans has opened up about her alleged interaction with Scott Swift, a.k.a. Papa Swift.
After a TikTok video was posted on Tuesday, October 29, that captured Taylor Moore, the passenger, chatting to Scott, 72, on board a Southwest Airlines flight departing New Orleans, Moore took to the social media platform to discuss the moment herself.
“I’m the girl that was sitting next to Papa Swift,” Moore began in her own video which was posted to TikTok in the late hours of Tuesday. She then revealed details into what Scott allegedly said about Travis Kelce, who has been dating Taylor, 34, since summer 2023.
“He did also talk about how much he loves Travis for her, which was super cute. I did not ask anything about Travis,” Moore said in the video. “He did say out of all of her boyfriends in the last 12 years that Travis has made the biggest impact and that Travis has a phenomenal family and he actually said that he knew Jason Kelce’s wife’s dad [Ed McDevitt, father to Kylie Kelce] before they started dating and so he said … ‘I knew they [the family] were amazing’.”
Moore added that Scott, who is a financial advisor, “loves them together.”
Scott being on board a flight out of New Orleans, where Taylor performed three consecutive Eras Tour shows from Friday, October 25, suggests that he attended one of his daughter’s concerts.

According to Moore, Scott attended several of Taylor’s New Orleans shows. “He [Scott] did spend a ton of the plane ride showing us … so many videos from the concert, from the New Orleans shows and he was, like, pointing out his favorite parts in the different shows,” Moore claimed. “He was so proud. He was like, ‘Look how she does this, look at this, I love this part.’ Cutest thing in the world.”
Moore prefaced her candid recount by claiming that she did not attend any of Taylor’s shows herself, declaring that she was “not a massive fan,” despite recognizing Scott prior to boarding the plane.
Moore added that she “did not even have to ask him questions,” about Taylor and Kelce, 35, as Scott was allegedly quite “a talker.”
“He [Scott] was just spilling every bit of how proud he was of Taylor, a lot about his life, a lot about what they do, all of the good stuff,” Moore said in the video. “He was just talking from start to finish, he was ready to tell all.”
Moore said that early in the pair’s conversation, Scott reached into his pocket to produce “guitar picks” that confirmed his identity.
The alleged interaction comes after a source exclusively told Us Weekly in September that Taylor and Kelce are “in love and don’t care what others think.” A second source added, “Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future. Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.”
