The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen are raising eyebrows with their latest social media behavior.
Taylor took to social media on Sunday, October 20, to document a “day in the mountains” via her Instagram Story. In one of her posts, the reality star seemingly shared a photo of herself with Dakota at an outdoor gun range.
Fans began to speculate that the duo were officially back together. The chatter didn’t stop when Dakota, 31, shared the same photo via his own Instagram Story.
Another plot twist came when Taylor, 30, decided to post — then delete — a quote from @Exteme_Quotes.
“Due to personal reasons, I’ll be back with the same man I said I’m done with,” the quote read via her Instagram Story on Monday, October 21.
Last month, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Taylor and Dakota had hit pause on their relationship. In a candid interview, Taylor admitted that the twosome were going through a rough time after Dakota watched the show.
“I would say we’re working on things, and I actually have no idea where it goes with us from here,” Taylor told Us. “We are not fully together, but not fully done. I don’t know what the future holds with him and I.”
Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which began streaming on September 6, captured Taylor and Dakota learning they were expecting their first baby together.
Although Taylor suffered an ectopic pregnancy, she was able to get pregnant again and welcomed her first child with Dakota — a son named Ever — in March.
While cameras were able to document a portion of their road to parenthood, Taylor — who also shares daughter Indy, 7, and son Ocean, 4, with ex-husband Tate Paul — said Dakota was not happy with his portrayal.
“He has a really good soft side, and I feel like that wasn’t shown on the show,” she explained to Us. “He’s like, ‘I look like this a– to you while you’re pregnant, when that’s just not the case of how I treated you the whole time. Yes, I did defend myself in [some] cases, but that’s not how I am to you. I look like this awful person when I’m not.’”
On October 3, Hulu announced The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives had been renewed for season 2 with 20 new episodes. It’s unclear if Taylor and Dakota’s dynamic relationship is being filmed.
Season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently streaming on Hulu.
