Information is still developing on the second drone strike on Israel in two days, but it’s thought to be Iran-backed terror group Hezbollah’s handiwork.

Fox News’ chief foreign correspondent, Trey Yingst, shared a report via his X account:

He wrote:

Serious incident south of Haifa. Direct hit from a Hezbollah drone. Details to follow.

The Associated Press also had scant details, including that one drone lobbed at Israel was intercepted, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) :

DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israeli rescue services say almost 40 people have been wounded in a drone strike in the central city of Binyamina, three of them critically. The Hezbollah militant group is being blamed.

Israeli media reported that two drones were launched from Lebanon on Sunday. The Israeli military says one drone was intercepted.

Israel’s advanced air-defense systems mean that it is rare for so many people to be hurt by drones or missiles.

This is the second time in two days that a drone has struck in Israel. On Saturday, during the Israeli holiday of Yom Kippur, a drone struck in a suburb of Tel Aviv, causing damage but no injuries.

RedState will provide an update when more information is released.
