Turns Out Those Obama Remarks Got Worse—He Even Insults Black Men Who Are on the Fence About Kamala

The Democrats have to be desperate at this point to have to deploy Barack Obama to places like Pittsburgh as they did on Thursday to try to help out with the black vote.

As we reported, Obama was honest that Kamala Harris has a problem, that she doesn’t have the same kind of enthusiasm that he brought out (oof, nice shot there, Barack!). In particular, black males aren’t on board. He was saying that they should vote for her because she “grew up like you” and had common struggles. Now, why would you vote for a person on that basis and not on the policies that they intend to put in place? It was condescending and preachy. Of course, he doesn’t really care about why the black men, and many others, have been fleeing Kamala Harris. If that were the case, he and other Democrats might have to deal with some hard truths.

But actually what he said was worse than initially reported. Now more has come out. Turns out, not only was he preaching at them with a blatantly “stand with her because she’s black” approach, but he was even scolding them, suggesting the reason they might not be for her was because she was a woman.

“And you’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses, I’ve got a problem with that,” he said.

“Because part of it makes me think — and I’m speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”

He said that the “women in our lives have been getting our backs this entire time.”

“When we get in trouble and the system isn’t working for us, they’re the ones out there marching and protesting,” he said.

“And now you’re thinking about sitting out or supporting somebody who has a history of denigrating you, because you think that’s a sign of strength, because that’s what being a man is? Putting women down? That’s not acceptable.”

So here’s a thought, Preachy Obama: maybe it’s not the best idea to accuse a black man of being misogynistic to try to convince them to vote your way. Maybe the better way would be to understand/care about the problem that they have with Kamala, including that they’re not hearing any answers from her. But you don’t want to ask or deal with the questions that regular black men and women have to deal with, like the economy and the border, among other issues.

But also, how bad off are you that this is what you are saying to campaign volunteers? Are you really saying they don’t want to vote for women? Not a smart move. I mean if someone did that to me, frankly, I might say I’m tired of this nonsense already and I’m out of here. Talk about dissension in the ranks, if this is what’s going on.

Really, just so offensive and insulting to black men. Sounds like they’re already trying to blame black men for losing as opposed to Kamala just being a lousy candidate.
