Seven days after Hurricane Helene slammed into the Florida coast, Joe Biden finally showed up on the ground on Wednesday. Expectedly, the press didn’t bat an eye at the extreme delay despite destroying George W. Bush’s presidency for his lesser tardiness in physically presenting himself after Hurricane Katrina.
But as I’ve long said, nothing matters when it comes to politics. There are no standards. No one is treated the same. Every “rule” revolves around ensuring Democrats remain in power. That means the botched response to Hurricane Helene will be largely ignored despite the Biden-Harris-led FEMA claiming to be out of money due to giving it all to illegal immigrants.

As the lady once said, ain’t that a kick in the head? Perhaps someone kicked the current president in the head as well because when he was asked about the matter on Thursday, his response set off outrage and left nothing but questions about his mental health.
Reporter: “What do the states in the storm zone need — after what you saw today?”
Biden: “Oh, storm zone? I didn’t know which storm you’re talking about”

REPORTER: What do the states in the storm zone need, Mr. President?
BIDEN: What?
REPORTER: What do the states in the storm zone, what do they need after what you saw today?
BIDEN: Oh in the storm zone?
REPORTER: Yes, sir.
BIDEN: I’m wondering what storm you’re talking about. They’re getting everything they need. They’re very happy across the board.
Keep in mind that this gaggle happened the day after he got back from surveying the damage. Yet, he seems completely confused as to what he’s being asked. Once the reporter follows up, the president then quips “I’m wondering what storm you’re talking about.” Was he really wondering or was that meant to be some sort of joke? It’s not like there have been multiple hurricanes that hit the United States in the last couple of weeks.
Biden is senile, and that manifests itself in different ways. For one, his brain seems to move at the pace of molasses. It should not take a president multiple tries to figure out what storm people are asking him about when he just got back from visiting a state hit by the only notable storm being talking about. Secondly, he has no filter. If that was meant to be a joke, and that’s a big assumption, who in their right mind jokes about a major hurricane that has left thousands without homes and hundreds dead?
Believe it or not, though, that’s not the worst part of his comment. The worst part is saying that people are “very happy” and have everything they need.
Imagine you wake up with cartoon-character-level amnesia. Someone tells you that you’re the president and you have to answer questions. This is a *dream* question.

As of this writing, over 200 people have died due to Helene’s devastation. There are people still trapped in mountain communities that have all but been abandoned while FEMA orchestrates yet another bureaucratic nightmare. And the President of the United States has the audacity to say that people are “happy” and have everything they need? Are you kidding me?
Joe Biden is either completely gone mentally, a sociopath who cares about no one but himself, or both. For those wondering, the correct answer is both.
