Trent Godfrey has been appointed as Harcourts SA’s new Performance Coach and Corporate Auctioneer

The Announcement:

Trent Godfrey has been appointed Harcourts SA’s new Performance Coach and Corporate Auctioneer.

“I am excited to be back working within the Harcourts network. As a former Harcourts business owner with 15+ years in varying real estate roles, I am privileged to be stepping into the dual role of SA Performance Coach and Corporate Auctioneer,” Mr Godfrey said.

Having begun his real estate career with Harcourts in New Zealand, Mr Godfrey moved to Adelaide in late 2013, and faced the enormous challenge of settling into a real estate market where he had no profile or credibility as an agent.

The turning point was winning the Society of Auctioneers and Appraisers News Australia SA Golden Gavel 2014 Rising Star award. The win was the beginning of a now long and successful career as an auctioneer.

Having worked as Business Development Manager and then Business Growth Manager for two large franchise groups in Adelaide, Mr Godfrey is excited to be back in blue and with the hammer in hand.

“My passion around the auction method of sale aligns with the high performing Harcourts brand,” Mr Godfrey said.

Rachel Eckey, CEO Harcourts SA, welcomed Mr Godfrey back to the network.

“Trent is an invaluable asset in our quest to support our offices to become the best businesses they can be,” Ms Eckey said.

“He is a highly respected member of the community, and for good reason: he has the credentials, the drive, and the abilities of the consummate real estate professional, but also the down-to-earth warmth and genuine care that nurtures success in others.

“I am elated to have him back in blue with us.”

Mere weeks into the new position, Mr Godfrey is relishing being a part of the SA Harcourts network.

“The job now is to get to know my community, let them know I’m here and that I can help get them the results they are looking for,” Mr Godfrey said.
