Leading agent Eddy Piddington has joined Ray White Northern Beaches, bringing over 20 years of local expertise to the team.

Mr Piddington, who specialises in the Manly area, has a proven track record of selling properties ranging from $800,000 to over $8 million, with his team handling over 60 transactions annually.

Mr Piddington is joined by his long-time sales team Jess Hine and Lachlan Phillips and aims to continue delivering exceptional service to the Northern Beaches community.

With his move to Ray White, Mr Piddington is looking forward to combining his local expertise and work ethic with the resources and reach of the Ray White brand.

“Every experience I’ve had with the entire Ray White team has been world-class and far beyond my expectations,” Mr Piddington said.

“It quickly became my vision to combine Ray White’s people and platform with me and my team to bring outstanding value to our clients.”

Mr Piddington’s decision to join Ray White was driven by his desire to provide even better results for his clients.

He said that a significant portion of buyers for Manly properties come from outside the area, particularly the North Shore and Eastern Suburbs.

“Over time, I’ve noticed that out-of-area buyers often pay a premium for properties here, he said.

“We see over 40 per cent of buyers coming from the North Shore, Mosman, and Eastern Suburbs, so we researched who was selling the most and best properties in these areas.

“Ray White is the clear leader, which made the decision to join the group an easy one.”

He has set an ambitious target of 20 sales before Christmas and is already well on his way with 11 new listings in his first week with the brand.

“We’re conscious to come out strong, but also conscious not to just sell them,” he said.

“We want to come out and be known for setting records.

Mr Piddington puts his success down to a disciplined approach and a focus on sustainability.

“I always think about our job a little bit like the gym,” he said.

“If you go every day to the gym, something’s going to happen.

“And like our job, if we get in every day, we hustle hard, we do the right thing by people, in turn, something will happen

“So I think it’s just a consistent discipline and that’s what I’ve found over my time and trying to do it in a balanced way for sustainability.”

This approach has allowed Mr Piddington and his team to maintain their high performance over the long term, and avoid burnout.

“I know lots of agents, they’ll come in, they’ll do seven days a week, they’ll hit big goals and then a year later vanish, because they just burn out,” he said.

“So the key thing is for us, my team and I all got pretty good balance when we’re there.

“We’re absolutely there and go so hard, but we also have some time to recharge.

“So you’re giving your clients the best, not just running around frantic.”

Ray White Northern Beaches and Upper North Shore director David Walker expressed his excitement about bringing one of the leading agents on the Northern Beaches into the team.

“Eddy’s values and work ethic align perfectly with our culture, which is crucial to maintaining a high-performing business,” Mr Walker said.

“He was seeking a place where he could thrive, and he found that in Ray White.”

Ray White NSW/ACT CEO Tim Snell said he is thrilled to welcome Mr Piddington to the Ray White Northern Beaches office.

“This marks a significant first step in our strategic expansion into the Northern Beaches,” Mr Snell said.

“We understand the importance of supporting expanding businesses, and our approach here will be defined by our unique ability to connect the strongest local talent with the power of our national brand.”
