Fulham have reached an agreement in principle with Crystal Palace to sign Joachim Andersen.
After multiple offers, compromise has been found on a fee of around £30million including add-ons.
All parties are now working to finalise a deal for the 28-year-old Denmark international centre-back.
The west London club have been in the market for centre-back reinforcements following the departures of Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea and Tim Ream to Charlotte FC.
Andersen, who spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Fulham from Lyon, featured in 31 matches as the club were relegated from the Premier League.
The Denmark international joined Palace from Lyon in the summer of 2021 for a fee in the region of €22m (£18.8m). Prior to that, he enjoyed spells at FC Twente and Sampdoria.
Andersen has made 113 appearances across all competitions for Palace, scoring three goals.
He was a key figure last season, starting all 38 matches as the club recorded their joint-highest Premier League finish under new manager Oliver Glasner.
Fulham began their 2024-25 campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United last weekend.
They return to Premier League action at home to Leicester City on Saturday.
