Peter and Kerrie Stanford are celebrating 30 years with LJ Hooker by acquiring a substantial rent roll in Greater Western Sydney

The Announcement:

LJ Hooker Penrith owners Peter and Kerrie Stanford have marked their 30th anniversary with the brand by expanding their successful business through a significant acquisition.

The couple, who took over ownership of LJ Hooker Penrith on July 1, 1994, have acquired a substantial rent roll in Western Sydney.

“It feels like the time has gone very quickly and while 30 years is a significant achievement, it hasn’t been top-of-mind as we have been very focused on this deal and doing our due diligence, and ensuring all systems were in place to facilitate this major undertaking,” Mr Stanford said.

The deal, which was five months in the making, coincided with their 30th anniversary and proved to be the perfect way to mark the special occasion.

Mr Stanford emphasised the importance of property management in their business strategy.

“Too many real estate agencies just focus on sales, but property management has always been an important part of our business, and it needs to be treated with equal respect,” he said.

“It is a demanding and sometimes thankless job dealing with difficult situations and emotionally charged issues, but it has many benefits.”

LJ Hooker Penrith has also welcomed Ross Heidtmann, Brooke De Oliveira, Jazz Gospo and Angela Fitzpatrick to their successful team.

Mr Stanford also recognised the work of Senior Property Investment Manager, Melissa Jerzyna, in the agency’s success.

“We are very fortunate to have Melissa looking after the team of property managers and delivering outstanding customer service in what can be a very difficult sector,” he said.

“We aim to go above and beyond, and we do this by providing 24-hour contact for landlords and tenants.”

Head of Network Australia, Chris Keating congratulated Mr and Mrs Stanford on their 30th anniversary with LJ Hooker and the growth strategy to expand their property management division.

“Three decades is a long time in real estate and it is wonderful that Peter and Kerrie continue to have the drive and passion to keep expanding their operations, while also training the next generation of up-and-coming young agents,” Mr Keating said.

“LJ Hooker Penrith is instrumental in making sure our footprint in Sydney’s Greater Western region is not only sustained but more importantly is growing.”

“Acquisitions, such as this one, mean we will continue to have a presence in the area now and beyond.”
