Local agent Rodney Triffett has acquired Harcourts West Coast, aiming to build on the agency’s success in the region.

The Announcement:

Rodney Triffett has been named the new owner of Harcourts West Coast, taking over from previous owner Jenelle Carey.

Established in 2009, Harcourts West Coast has become the leading real estate agency in the region, servicing Waratah, Tullah, Rosebery, Zeehan, Queenstown, Gormanston, Strahan, Granville Harbour and Trial Harbour.

Mr Triffett, who was born in Queenstown, expressed his love for the West Coast region.

“I was born into Queenstown, and I personally love the West Coast,” Mr Triffett said.

“I love the quiet nature of it, the friendly locals, and range of outdoor activities it provides. I hope to be here as long as I can be, and it’s great to see how the West Coast has improved over the last few years, with the best still yet to come.”

Mr Triffett began his career in real estate in 2017, initially considering a career in the mining industry.

“Back then I always thought I would end up somewhere mining related, as the West Coast is mining orientated,” he said.

“There were times where I did in fact want to move into mining, but I am glad I stuck it out. What real estate has provided me with is a job that is full of variety, without being stuck in the one area all the time.”

Harcourts West Coast operates two offices, located in Rosebery and Queenstown, providing services across all aspects of buying, selling, renting and property management.

Mr Triffett highlighted the region’s growth and development as key factors in its appeal.

“The West Coast is in area that is on the rise, and for the better. It is great to see how much the area has changed over the last few years, with so many people putting in the hard work,” he said.

“From our downhill mountain bike trails to our arts community, there is so much more to bring people down to the West Coast now.”

The new owner expressed pride in his team’s performance and diverse backgrounds.

“Coming from a range of different backgrounds, day in and day out our team are kicking goals, and making lots of self-improvement with the many things you learn during your time in real estate,” Mr Triffett said.

“We work regularly with clients from around Tasmania and the mainland and we understand the needs of clients in a diverse and changing property market.”

“Got West Coast property dreams? At Harcourts West Coast, we make it possible.”
