Leading agent Chari Emirzade has opened a new Barry Plant office in South Barwon, Geelong, alongside co-directors Deane Hughes and Matthew Constantine.
Boasting more than 50 years of combined experience in real estate, the team brings a wealth of industry and leadership experience, with compelling and complementary skill sets.
Mr Emirzade and Mr Constantine have prior experience as directors in other businesses, while Mr Hughes has held senior roles within the sector.
Coming to Australia with his family in 2014 from Cyprus, with only $10,000 in his pocket, Mr Emirzade quickly established himself as a hard working, ethical agent.
Now, after 10 years in the industry, Mr Emirzade has sold more than 2000 properties in the Geelong region, and has been awarded the most trusted and most recommended agent in the regional city.
He has also been the recipient of numerous awards, including Barry Plant Group’s Top Agent for eight consecutive years, Top Three Agents in Victoria (REA) and the No. 1 Agent in Regional Victoria (REA).
A fully licensed sales agent and auctioneer, Mr Emirzade brings his passion to mentor others as well as his personal expertise to the role.
“Our partnership came together very quickly and naturally, by a series of lucky coincidences,” Mr Emirzade said.
“We are three like-minded people with the aim of building an outstanding office culture and providing excellent service.
“We all have our roles and responsibilities, and the respect and care between us is already very strong, which we believe is the basis of a successful partnership and business.”
Mr Hughes, who has 21 years of experience in real estate, primarily within the 3216 postcode, lives in the area he works and is raising his family there.
A fully licensed sales agent and auctioneer, he is experienced in coaching and mentoring agents, and is recognised as a top lister and seller within the Barry Plant network as part of the group’s elite “Pinnacle Club”.
With 24 years of experience in real estate, Mr Constantine is an auctioneer and also part of the elite Pinnacle Club.
He is a long-serving and highly trusted Belmont agent who is known for a high auction success rate, and is a Geelong resident with deep community ties.
Barry Plant Chief Executive Officer, Lisa Pennell, said the new office represented an important moment for the Barry Plant Group.
“Chari, Deane and Matt are all top agents, this is undeniable, however they’re also good humans too and will undoubtedly lead the South Barwon team to great success,” Ms Pennell said.
“They’re so aligned with the Barry Plant vision to be the trusted brand in real estate – we are a purpose led network and are tightly focussed on performance excellence.”
“This marks day one of a new chapter for the group in the South Barwon region.”
