Chrysler is recalling a number of vehicle models due to a problem with the radio software that may prevent the rearview image from displaying, raising the risk of a crash. That’s according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration documents.

The recalled vehicles include the following models:

Reuters reported that an over-the-air software update is being deployed. A request to accept the update will appear on the media screens of the recalled vehicles. Stellantis stated that the software has already been updated in more than 735,000 vehicles.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 2, 2024.

The automaker is unaware of any crashes or injuries related to the issue.
