Chelsea have had a €32.5million (£27.4m) plus add-ons offer rejected for Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion.
The 20-year-old, who joined Atletico from Granada in the summer of 2023, spent last season on loan at Deportivo Alaves. He is one of a handful of striker targets that the London club are looking at.

Omorodion scored nine goals and provided one assist in 37 games last season, helping Alaves to a 10th-place finish in La Liga.
Born to Nigerian parents, Samu does have the option to represent Nigeria but has shown allegiance to his native Spain — receiving a call-up to the under-19 and under-21 Spanish national teams.
“Spain has given me the opportunity and I am very grateful for it,” Samu said earlier this season. “I don’t think about Nigeria. My goal is to debut with the senior side and have my career in Spain.”
The Athletic previously reported that Chelsea have an interest in Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran.
A move for former academy striker Dominic Solanke is unlikely, at least for the time being, because of a £65million release clause in his Bournemouth contract.
Chelsea completed the free transfer signing of Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham earlier this month.
