A $100 million luxury, residential development that promises to bring the spirit of the Byron Bay hinterland to the centre of the coastal town, has secured DA approval.
JD Property Group will create Secret Garden, an opulent mixed-use development, with 22 residential apartments and 10 upscale retail and hospitality tenancies on the ground floor, on the corner of Jonson and Kingsley Streets.
Located in the heart of the beachside town, popular with tourists and Hollywood celebrities alike, the 2725sq m parcel of land is a rare opportunity to create a world-class lifestyle precinct.
JD Property Group Managing Director and third generation local, Jason Dunn, said the aim behind the development was to spotlight everything that makes Byron Bay uniquely special.

Secret Garden will offer residents a six-star, hotel-style experience, with 22 apartments made up of two, three and four bedroom configurations.
The apartments will be priced from $2.45 million, with a hallmark of the design being the use of floor to ceiling glass in open and airy living spaces decorated with natural tones and finishes.
The precinct features premium communal spaces, such as a rooftop wellness centre, including a magnesium pool, sauna, meditation space, and spa.

Mr Dunn said with an eight-star average NatHERS (Nationwide Housing Energy Rating Scheme) score, Secret Garden would be a fossil-fuel free residential development.
Its sustainability credentials include high performing internal features, like glazing, to regulate temperature; water-efficient fixtures and fittings; and a ventilation strategy that maximises fresh, clean indoor air.
