As we previously reported, when Joe Biden went to North Carolina on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called in to a WBT radio show with the host, Mark Garrison.
Things began to go south when Garrison asked her about whether Joe Biden had dementia because, he said, people had asked him to ask her. That disturbed her. She called that “insulting” and “offensive.”
Next, he asked her about gas and grocery prices. She said Biden “understands” and then tried to blame former President Donald Trump despite the fact that gas and grocery prices were far lower under him than under Biden. But immediately after that comment, she made a snippy comment thanking them and then hung up.
Garrison played the audio for another host and they were astounded that she hung up on him. Garrison also noted that she was supposed to be on the show for longer.

That was bad enough. But then the White House spin of the incident bordered on the bizarre rather than admitting that she hung up on the station when faced with the question everyone wants the answer to.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates said KJP had back-to-back interviews, was trying to stay within time constraints, and that the radio station edited in the dial tone to the clip.
“As she often does when the President travels, Karine had multiple back-to-back interviews with radio stations who were each offered seven minutes. Once the agreed-upon time was over, she called into the next interview so everyone could get their full time,” Bates said in a statement to the Daily Beast following Jean-Pierre’s initial interview. “This particular station chose not to air the full interview and instead artificially attached a sound effect that our phones do not make when calls end.”
The radio station said the White House wasn’t telling the truth.
“The White House assertion that we added a sound effect is nonsense. When she hung up, the phone noise was purely from their end,” Mark Garrison told the Daily Caller. They also provided the Daily Caller with a copy of what they said was the raw audio, which had the dial tone on it.

If it’s a choice as to who is not telling the truth here, the White House doesn’t have a good track record — plus you have the alleged raw audio. But imagine, this is how fragile they are. And how desperate. They have to hang up on you and spread nonsense about it because they don’t want to truly deal with the real question that most Americans have about Joe Biden and dementia. They want to act like it’s an illegitimate question. But that attitude isn’t going to help them with the American people because the question isn’t going away. Unfortunately for them, we’re seeing Biden every day. KJP said, “Watch him,” and we do. And that’s why they’re going to lose — we see all the problems with our own eyes, and they aren’t able to spin them away.
