Swathed in crisp white with light-toned wood finishes, the two-bedroom, four-bathroom penthouse is oriented around its South Beach views. The unit has ample entertaining space spread across the open living space, spacious balconies, and rooftop terrace. That outdoor area includes a kitchen and hot tub, though there’s extra space should the new owner wish to add a sauna or cold plunge. Along with the various amenities in unit, residents gain full access to The Edition’s beach, spa, and dining offerings too.

Only three units in the building are available for sale to full-time residents. The listing is held by Toni Schrager at Brown Harris Stevens Miami.

Luxury real estate has been having a moment in South Florida for quite some time now, and attraction to the area doesn’t seem to be slowing down. A new record has been set in Sunny Isles Beach, a city in north Miami-Dade county, for the highest contract for a condominium. The $55 million sale is for a penthouse in the St. Regis Residences’s South Tower. Not yet built, completion of the property is expected by 2027.

Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Patricia Anastassiadis and landscape design by EDSA, the oval-shaped pair of buildings stick out amidst the area’s more traditionally shaped structures. Inside, curved elements recall the memorable design of the building exteriors. The property offers over 70,000 square feet of amenities spread across the beach club, athletic club, and wellness center, including three ocean-facing pools, a pickle ball court, and a juice bar, among the long list of options for recreation and wellness. The penthouses specifically have their own private pools, outdoor kitchens, and ceiling heights of over 12 feet.

The record-breaking transaction was closely timed with the North Tower’s sales launch. Homes in the North Tower start at 2,000 square feet and measure up to 10,000 square feet, with prices starting at approximately $4.5 million and penthouses running around $60 million. The property was developed by Fortune International Group and Château Group and is managed by St. Regis Hotel and Resorts.

A pair of Billy Cotton–designed residences on the Upper East Side

AD100 designer Billy Cotton has created homes for renowned artists Cindy Sherman and Lisa Yuskavage, as well as performers David Harbour and Lily Allen—and he’s spent time as the creative director at Ralph Lauren Home. Now, the designer has unveiled two luminous model units in the The Treadwell, a new condominium on the Upper East Side.

Both homes are furnished with a mix of custom pieces and vintage finds sourced at the Paris Flea Market, creating a sophisticated lived-in quality in the spaces. Distinct textures and custom millwork combine for a truly sumptuous atmosphere that offers a tranquil antidote to the hustle of the city.

“The vision for these homes was to create spaces that are natural, simple and elegant,” Cotton said in a statement. “I wanted to create a design that felt sophisticated and welcoming, while paying homage to our setting in the Upper East Side.”
