YouTube Censors Tomi Lahren and Outkick Over COVID ‘Misinformation’: What Don’t They Want Us to Know?

YouTube is still on its censorship game. Now, the company’s Digital Stasi is targeting sports media company Outkick for a segment in which one of its guests failed to adhere to the state-approved narrative regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines.

Fox News’ Tomi Lahren joined host Clay Travis to discuss the pandemic, among other issues. It is not known exactly what was said because YouTube removed the video for “misinformation.” But it seems clear it was comments made about the vaccine that were the issue.

Lahren took to Twitter to voice her frustrations with video sharing platform:

So Outkick has been locked out of YouTube due to Clay and I rightfully pointing out the COVID vax is basically worthless.

Moral of the story, you can create a basically worthless vaccine and coax tens of millions of people into taking it… You just can’t point out that it is basically worthless. Got it.

Lahren is not the only high-profile commentator to earn YouTube’s wrath for not parroting the leftist narrative on the coronavirus. The company’s Digital Stasi also targeted a video featuring Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Daily Wire host Jordan Peterson in which the vaccine was also a topic of conversation.

Actor and YouTuber Russell Brand also received the same treatment last year when the platform censored him for making an error when quoting data from a government site regarding the pandemic. During a video clip, he said:

They took down one of our videos for misinformation, but why are big media organisations not censored for misinformation in the same way? Is it because YouTube are part of the mainstream media now?

Let’s get this straight.

CNN, MSNBC, NBC News, and all the other elite media outlets can spew all kinds of “misinformation” and “disinformation” and all other forms of folderol on YouTube’s platform without fear of getting censored. They can publish all the half-truths and outright lies about the issues of the day without so much as a word from the powers that be at Google, YouTube’s parent company.

But folks like Clay Travis, Tomi Lahren, Jordan Peterson, Russell Brand, and others have to make sure they are 100 percent in line with the government’s narrative about the COVID-19 pandemic to avoid being censored? If you believe YouTube is truly concerned with ensuring its users are not led astray by misinformation, I’ve got some magic beans to sell you on the cheap.

This is what is going on here: Brand is right. YouTube is the establishment now and has been for quite some time. The company is in league with the elites running our government, just as the leadership of Facebook and Twitter were in bed with the federal agencies trying to crack down on speech they considered disagreeable.

These companies are willing to do the government’s bidding, free speech be damned. The free expression of ideas and viewpoints means little to those running these platforms, which are slowly turning into propaganda mills.

What is ironic about this whole situation is that Big Tech working so hard to squash dissenting views on the pandemic and vaccines created a Streisand Effect of sorts. It prompted people to seek out the information social media companies were scuttling through other methods. The authoritarian left does not own the entire internet (yet), so, in reality, it is unable to prevent folks from finding this information if they really want it.

Nevertheless, if most people don’t even realize there are countering viewpoints to what the state is peddling, many still won’t see information that could show how the state is deceptively manipulating them. This is why YouTube’s censorious behavior is so dangerous. Lahren’s story is the latest exposing how YouTube is steadily transforming into a tool of the elite ruling class, stifling speech and helping to deceive the public. Hopefully, there will be other ways for people to wake up to the massive con job being perpetrated on us all.
