Electric minivans might not be in the U.S. just yet, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the world isn’t on top of it. The Maxus MIFA 9 is a Chinese-built electric minivan that’s available in both China and Europe. With a single electric motor powering the front axle and a battery good for a WLTP-estimated range of around 275 miles, there’s a lot to like about this people mover—but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect, or even good for the kinds of stateside families who would buy an EV minivan.
