Volkswagen is celebrating the 40th birthday of its enthusiast-focused compact sedan, the Jetta GLI, with a run of special editions. The 2024 model year marks 40 years since the GLI’s inception in 1984, and the anniversary cars will be limited to a fitting production run of 1984 examples for the North American market.
