Tucker Carlson released an extensive interview with Democrat presidential candidate with Robert Kennedy Jr. on Monday. The two discussed a wide range of controversial topics, from bio-labs allegedly related to COVID-19 to the war in Ukraine.

KENNEDY JR: We have bio-labs in Ukraine because we are developing bio-weapons and those bio-weapons are using all kinds of new synthetic biology and crisper technology and genetic engineering techniques and they can make frightening frightening stuff.

Kennedy Jr. went on to claim that those labs are tied to provisions in the Patriot Act. He then alleged that Anthony Fauci was in charge of moving those bio-labs overseas in order to circumvent Obama-era policies on gain-of-function research.

KENNEDY JR: In 2014, 300 scientists wrote to President Obama and said, “You’ve gotta shut down Anthony Fauci because he is going to create a microbe that will cause a global pandemic,” and so Obama signed a moratorium and shut down the 18 worst of Anthony Fauci’s experiments, where most of them were taking place in North Carolina by a scientist called Ralph Baric.

Anytime we are dealing with allegations like this, I have to be clear that while I’m reporting what Kennedy Jr. said, RedState has not corroborated the totality of his claims regarding Ukranian bio-labs and Anthony Fauci. With that said, there are aspects of Fauci’s involvement in gain-of-function research in overseas labs, specifically in Wuhan, China, which we have heavily reported on.

But while that was part of the interview that went most viral, Kennedy Jr. did spend a good bit of time on kitchen table issues as well.

Certainly, inflation has been a huge burden on Americans, and while the overall rate is slowing, that does not mean that prices are dropping. On the contrary, prices are continuing to rise during a time when families are paying $709 a month more under Joe Biden for the same goods and services they were receiving during the prior administration.

Early in the interview, Kennedy Jr. addressed the denial of Secret Service protection for him by the Biden administration.

Secret Service protection is required for “major” candidates within six months of the election. Others have received protection much sooner, though, and Kennedy Jr. feels that the kindest explanation is that the Democrat Party wants to bleed him dry financially. He notes the extreme cost of security and how much he’s traveling, with the idea being that it’s a burden on his campaign that Biden doesn’t have to deal with.

There’s a lot more covered in the full interview, including who Kennedy Jr. thinks killed JFK, so if you are interested in hearing more, I’ll post the entire thing below.
