No. 1. My Birthday Guy

Syd has made another trip around the sun! We had a little dinner celebration together while we were in the city but had a blast celebrating his actual birthday with the team and donuts at the office. Syd, our girls and I love you and are so lucky to get to celebrate you – birthday and every day.

No. 2. The Art of Home is Here!

After years of work, The Art of Home is officially out in the world! I love seeing photos of the book in your hands and home and am so grateful to see the excitement surrounding it.

No. 3. In the Heart of Texas

The team and I were in Houston this week installing this incredible home. None of us can stop ogling the details. These clients were a dream to work with and we are all so happy to see them enjoying their home. More to come down the road!

No. 4. Dressing for a Space

I always like to consider the design of a home as I start pulling wardrobe inspiration for upcoming shoots. While we were photographing our #watersedgeproject last month I knew this blazer from Sezane would be the perfect accent to the hearth room – just a touch of warmth in a classic shape. I’ll be wearing this through all the seasons ahead.

No. 5. Summer in the City

Our week in New York was hot and humid and busy but these pieces kept me going (even when I was literally running from one meeting to the next) – I also randomly purchased this linen shift dress as a swim coverup, but it was so hot I ended up wearing it out. It’s so cute on!

No. 6. Concepts for ‘25

We’re always looking ahead over here at SM! This week we met to discuss concepts for our Target Threshold x Studio McGee collection… for 2025. You can never be too prepared, haha. As always, I love working on these collections and anticipating upcoming trends and how we can incorporate those into our designs in an approachable way.

No. 7. Another Exciting Week Ahead

We are finally sharing a big project tomorrow and I can promise you won’t want to miss it!

XO – S
