Two weeks and some 6,300 miles from the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Formula One has kicked off the Asian stretch of this 2023 season at Singapore’s Marina Bay Street Circuit (with Japan to follow in a week’s time).

With the first of three practice sessions wrapped up, we’ve got our first look at the various upgrades teams have brought for this race, as well as at the local water monitor lizard population. We’ve also got Madeline’s breakdown of the Marina Bay Circuit, complete with its new layout, and a report from Luke on how the teams (and reporters) handle the time zone shift. I meanwhile, relayed some lizardy facts.

If you’ve got questions over the next three days, drop them in the comments below, and we’ll work our answers into our live coverage.

Follow along here.
