Novak Djokovic won the Cincinnati Open on Sunday, outlasting world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in three sets 5-7, 7-6 (7), 7-6 (4) that lasted just under four hours. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Djokovic saved a championship point en route to winning the second set tiebreaker.
  • In the third set, tied at 3-3, Djokovic converted on his fifth break point opportunity. Despite getting broken while serving for the match at 5-4 — and not being able to convert on four championship points — Djokovic regrouped to win the final set tiebreaker.
  • With the win, Djokovic has 95 ATP titles and 39 ATP Masters 1000 tournament victories.
