The former head of the FBI Washington Field Office has provided some blockbuster information to the House Judiciary Committee.
So not only did you have multiple informants, but they had so many they lost track of who they had present from various other offices in the country. That’s a big confirmation when the FBI has avoided answering this question for some time. I reported in January 2022 how FBI official Jill Sanborn refused to answer that question when Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) asked her about the general subject and Ray Epps.
As we reported, Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday. He was nailed big time when it comes to his prior testimony before Congress about the authority that the U.S. Attorney from Delaware, David Weiss, had in his probe of Hunter Biden before he was appointed Special Counsel on the matter.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) grilled Garland on the question of informants who were present at the Capitol on Jan. 6 and his prior testimony on the matter. Massie asked him, “How many agents or assets of the government were present on January 5th and January 6th and agitating in the crowd to go into the Capitol, and how many went into the Capitol? Can you answer that now?”

Garland said he didn’t know the answer to that question.
Massie pressed further: “You don’t know how many there were? Or there were none?”
Garland reiterated: “I don’t know the answer to either of those questions — if there were any, I don’t know how many. I don’t know whether there are any.”
Massie appeared to grin in disbelief: “I think you may have just perjured yourself, that you don’t know that there were any? You want to say that again, that you don’t know that there were any?” He also pointed out that Garland has had two years to find out.
Massie had grilled him about Epps two years ago and asked then about how many assets of the government were present. Garland had refused to answer, claiming it was an ongoing investigation.
Massie referred to that previous questioning in regard to Ray Epps, who was indicted on Tuesday. “Yesterday, you indicted him! Isn’t that a wonderful coincidence!” Massie exclaimed. “On a misdemeanor. Meanwhile, you’re sending grandmas to prison.” He mentioned they were locking people up for filming, yet here you had a guy who urged people to go into the Capitol who’s only getting a minimal charge now.
But add this grilling to the one Jim Jordan just inflicted, and it sounds like they have Garland tripping all over his answers, and that they think they have a possible case of perjury going on here with Garland.
