Coach Mandy is not a stranger to the challenges of life. She understands what it takes to triumph over obstacles. As the fifth child from a dysfunctional family living in the tiny village of Mthatha, Amanda tells the tales of how the abuse she suffered as a child pushed her to become an impulsive teenager and the time she had to quit school to find employment after becoming pregnant at a very young age.
