Prince William and Kate Middleton have released two touching photos to celebrate Father’s Day. The image, taken on the Windsor Estate earlier this year by Millie Pilkington, shows Prince William with his children Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5. It continues a touching tradition of sharing new photographs of William with his children to mark the day.
The second Instagram image shows a smiling Prince of Wales sitting in a quiet corner of the estate, surrounded by his three children. His left arm is around Prince George, who is dressed to match his father in a blue shirt and jeans; his right is around Princess Charlotte, who gazes lovingly up at her father. In typically cheeky fashion, Prince Louis puts on a playful display with his arms wrapped around Prince William’s neck.
A closer look at both photos reveals a touching detail: Prince William and his children are pictured on a bench dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II on her 90th birthday. The whole inscription can’t be read due to the family’s positioning but the date is visible behind Prince George’s legs: 21 April 2016, the day Her Majesty celebrated her milestone birthday.
