At 499 Broadway in Southampton, New York, a rambling new abode custom designed by Cavallo Building is the winsome setting for this year’s edition of the Hampton Designer Showhouse. Presented by HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens), the annual event is once again raising funds for Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, with public tours running through September 3.

Honorary guest chairs Alexa Hampton and Jamie Drake lead the charge, as the house features some 30 spaces decked out by 20 interior designers, complete with summertime tablescapes by AreaEdit, Huniford Design Studio, Mottahedeh, and Natalie Annette Design.

Below, take a glimpse inside the three-story home’s one-of-a-kind mélange of spaces, robust with fresh design ideas and inspiration.

For the Hampton Designer Showhouse’s multifunctional entry, Antonio DeLoatch created an intimate sitting area brightened by Lee Industries upholstery. “We were immediately drawn to this luxurious soft purple velvet on the chairs,” he says. Off the foyer is the generously sized, albeit cozy, powder room, outfitted with white oak, a custom marble sink, a suite of Kohler products, and Kravet wallpaper “that doesn’t feel too beachy.”

Porter Teleo’s hand-painted black-on-white wallpaper and artworks by Sylvia Hommert offer just the spirited backdrop Brazil-born designer Cristiana Mascarenhas wanted for her living room, which pays homage to her South American homeland. Naturally, she turned to local showroom Heritage Brazil to help craft the imagined hangout, which is filled with goods by Brazilian artisans, including Fellicia, Móveis James, Evelyn Tannus, Uultis, Doimo Brasil, and Paolo Alves—each pulling from The Rug Company floor covering’s rainbow palette.
