Fred has completed his move from Manchester United to Fenerbahce.

The Turkish club have signed the Brazil international in a deal worth €10million plus €5m in add ons (£12.9m).

The 30-year-old midfielder had one year left on his contract and leaves after five years at Old Trafford.

“Thanks for everything, Manchester United Football Club,” Fred posted on social media on Saturday.

“Today ends one of the most beautiful stages of my career. I lived the dream of wearing the shirt of one of the biggest clubs in the world. Going through ups and downs, I leave with the conviction that I always gave my best during all training sessions and games.

“It was five years of a true dream for me and my family. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity. Forever a Red!”

Fred joined from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2018 and went on to make 213 appearances for United, scoring 14 goals.

He won the EFL Cup last season and was a runner-up in both the FA Cup and Europa League.
