FC Barcelona are set to change their drinks sponsor from Gatorade to Prime according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.
Barca’s contract with Gatorade, one of the world’s best known and most popular sports beverages, expires on June 30.
Looking to tap into a younger fan base around the world, however, Barca will allegedly sign with Prime for the coming years.
Prime was started by well-known YouTube personalities Logan Paul and KSI, who were once boxing opponents but became business partners in 2022 when launching the product.
A social media hype campaign, plus the popularity of Paul and KSI who boast tens of millions of followers on social media, resulted in Prime becoming an immediate hit – especially the US and UK where either man hails from.
Being associated with Prime will bring greater exposure to Barca, who are likely to use the drink on their preseason tour of the US beginning on July 22.
Landing the Barca contract is also a huge coup for Prime, who already have deals with Premier

As of yet, there are no details on the length of the contract Prime will have with Barca.
When Barca signed with Gatorade in 2013, it was announced as a three-year partnership which has managed to continue until this day.
Now, however, it seems president Joan Laporta and his board would like a change of partner.
Like Gatorade previously, Prime will be seen on the sidelines at the Montjuic Stadium while Camp Nou is being renovated and also in the locker room and at press conferences.
If Barca sign with Prime, the deal will come a month after the club struck a partnership with TP Vision which is “responsible for the design, manufacture and sale of Philips
