So yeah, if I told you that the Biden administration is readying a plan to issue photo ID cards to illegal aliens that it allows into the U.S. and then releases across the country, would you be surprised?
Hell, no, you wouldn’t — you’d likely say, “I told you so.”
New leaked images of an ID card — part of the new ICE Secure Docket Card program, first reported in July 2022 as a pilot program, which Immigration and Customs Enforcement said at the time would “modernize various forms of documentation provided to provisionally released noncitizens through a consistent, verifiable, secure card” — look like a drivers license or state ID card.

Incidentally, isn’t it ironic that the Biden administration apparently believes photo ID cards would be just fine for illegal aliens, yet “racist” as a requirement to vote in America?

Illegal aliens who arrive at the border and are not removed but are instead released into the country are generally given various documents depending on their situation or status. Additionally, they’re assigned immigration court dates — which are often ten years or more in the future.
The new ID card has room for a photo, a QR code, identifying information and security details, and the ICE logo in the top left corner. Again, compare and contrast the program with the histrionic fits thrown by Democrats with respect to photo ID proposals tied to voting in U.S. elections. Hypocrisy? Hell, yeah, it is — to the max.

ICE said the ID will have a photograph, biographic identifiers, and “cutting-edge” security features, with the aim being to “improve current, inconsistent paper forms that often degrade rapidly in real-world use.” The agency said the program was still in development and would be considered for further expansion pending the outcome of the pilot.
The card could be used to check in and schedule reporting meetings with ICE. The agency hopes that it can be used in the field to easily verify an alien’s identity and to see if they are deportable. But the program has alarmed conservatives, who see it as part of an agenda for welcoming, rather than removing, those in the country illegally.
RJ Hauman, president of the National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE) and a visiting adviser at the Heritage Foundation, blasted the program:
ICE is a federal law enforcement agency, not the DMV. When will Congress wake up and put an end to these open-borders, anti-enforcement programs that defy the agency’s mission and enable the crisis?
ICE should be arresting, detaining, and removing those who come here illegally, not doling out social services.

When the Democrats are kicked the hell out of the White House, and the Republicans regain control of the Senate. Moreover, the notion that “the card could be used to check in and schedule reporting meetings with ICE” lies somewhere between naive, wishful thinking and an idiotic joke.
Sure, illegals intent on following the law will comply with the program, but what about those who have no intention of doing so, including bad guys intent on doing God knows what once they get here? Please.
“Shockingly,” ICE disagrees with critics of what amounts to its “Welcome to America!” program.
Moving to a secure card will save the agency millions, free up resources, and ensure information is quickly accessible to DHS officials while reducing the agency’s FOIA backlog.
For provisionally released noncitizens, the digital modernization will provide ongoing access to important immigration documents through the secure card and connected portal.

Joe Biden and the Democrat Party continue to try their damnedest to import as many illegal aliens — the majority of whom they assume will one day be Democrat voters — into the country as they can get away with, and they don’t give a damn whether we like it or not.
