There are five shades of wood to choose from—I went with the eucalyptus colorway—as well as one upholstered sherpa option.

What are the dimensions? How does it fit in your space? Would it be better suited for a different type of home?
At 27 inches tall by 25 inches wide by 26 inches deep, this chair fits perfectly in my little city apartment. I’ve moved it from room to room throughout the weeks it’s lived here and it has worked in every placement I’ve tried. It’s a bit low to the ground but so am I, so I don’t mind that part! It’s a very modern design but the wood softens it a bit, though I can’t imagine it in a more rustic or traditional style home. Otherwise, I think it’d fit in pretty much anywhere else.
Sit Test: Is it comfortable? Does it feel well made? Does the chair have a tendency to sag?
No sagging here, this chair is wood through and through! It’s well-made and feels incredibly sturdy—the pieces join in such a beautiful way, almost like the chair should fold into itself, but it creates a lovely little lily pad of a seat with a slight recline instead. Designed by Andreas Bergsake to feel like a piece with “friendly character,” it isn’t a “sit and curl up all day” type of chair—but it’s great for guest seating, watching an episode or two, or reading the paper.
Is the chair suitable for particular decor styles? If so, which?
Definitely a Scandi, more modern home would be the best fit for this piece.
Is it durable/practical in a modern home?
Absolutely. It’s sturdy and well-constructed.
Is the chair kid- and/or dog-friendly?
I wouldn’t say it’s particularly great for kids or dogs. With the rougher edges, it’s something I could see a kid smacking their face on, and my dog prefers fluffy chairs.
What are the care and cleaning instructions? Do you think stains could be easily removed?
You probably won’t have to worry too much about stains with the non-upholstered Chisel lounge chair—I could see it being super easy to wipe off stains. The upholstered sherpa chair I could see being another story.
Do the photos do this product justice? Was there anything you were surprised to see IRL?
I do think it’s a bit hard to judge how petite the chair is in real life from the photos. That said, the size is perfect for me.
